First Bugfix post jam deadline


This is our first batch of bugfixes and small quality of life things.

Fixes:

  • License dialog for chest, snake and Thing not working
  • License  tab dissappearing
  • Keys crashing when dropping key ontop othe key
  • License trigger not being deleted after quest with licence trigger, making all mages have a licence trigger
  • Booting and giving key at the same time

Quality of life:

  • Added tooltips to keys
  • Added room name to room upgrades tab
  • Change name of dark forest and void so that they do not share keycode
  • Changed order in which summary updats appear to make clearer the order they are applied
  • Added a fade in to summary events

This was our first ever jam together, and even our first ever game together, coming into this we had little experience making games. and no godot experience at all, don't look into the code, it's bad bad!!

But we are very proud of the result, kinda bummed that we could not commit all the time we wanted since some of us are still in university, and have to finish it.

The Jam version of this game only has 10 mages, but we have designed 36 mages, the main reason they are not in the game, is that we did not have time to port all the dialog to the game, even if it's written already. There are more changes that are not in the Jam version, like a max amount of uses to the magnifying glass per day to make checking licenses riskier.
